Caye Caulker update request

Sorry, I know this should be asked on the port of call section of the board but I'm not seeing any discussion on the subject after the initial post just after Hurricane Earl. Does anyone have any update on Caye Caulker or Belize in general. Hurricane recovery related clean up.

I think the first two ships were there just this week, so maybe a review will be posted soon.

 

You can tell from WadetheGringo's post that the Lazy Lizard at the Split on CC was devastated.

That's not the Wet Lizard on the tender pier folks so don't panic.

 

Many of the Belize news sites haven't been updated since 8-6, but I found this travel blog from Ambergris Caye (San Pedro) which seems to indicate you can still get to Altun Ha and diving and snorkeling aren't affected.
