You are generally going to pay in the range of 40€ - 50€ per taxi.....but keep in mind this is Italy and some taxi drivers have no problem taking advantage of naive customers :(. So a basic rule of thumb is to negotiate a price before you even get in the taxi. If the driver quotes a high price (i.e. 70€) and refused to drop the price you must make the decision as to whether to pay.....or simply walk away and find another taxi. We have witnessed situations where a prospective customer tried to argue with the driver which is not a good strategy. Your power is to negotiate with a smile....and be willing to walk away if you are not satisfied with the outcome.

we pre booked a taxi from Cruise port to airport which cost 35 euros

 

however taxis from airports seem to attract higher surcharges
