kevinyork Posted August 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2016 We've been on Indy from the UK and Adventure on a TA (with a mostly Brit crowd) and formal nights have been pretty formal with guys mostly in tuxes. We are doing a B2B on Oasis in Feb and would like to know about the generally acceptable dress codes. We have limited baggage allowance and would prefer to not take our Tuxedos. Can we get by with chinos and a smart shirt on formal nights and would we fit in? We don't want to be overdressed nor being at the lower end of acceptability. Clarea Posted August 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2016 There is a wide range of dress these days, you would fit right in.
packercruising Posted August 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2016 We will be on Allure at the same time! Wish it was a B2B. :) Resort Casual works even on Formal nights. Shorts, sandals and t-shirts are frowned upon in the MDR. Enjoy!
Merion_Mom Posted August 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Sandals are not frowned on in the dining room.
packercruising Posted August 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Really! For formal night? Hmm. I don't wear them for dinner.
