Boarding Time for Connie in Bayonne

We are sailing 11-10 on the Constellation on Nov 10th out of Bayonne. What time can we go onboard? We are having a car service take us to the port and set it up to be dropped off at 11 am. Is that too early?

We sailed out of Bayonne on Oct.5 on Constellation and I believe they started boarding around 11:30. It is somewhat disorganized with all the busses coming and going, but once inside we were given a number for boarding. You have to ride a shuttle bus from the terminal to the ship which takes a few minutes. Enjoy your cruise, Constellation is one of our favorites.

This is our 1st time going out of Bayonne. Do you register in the terminal then have to get onto a bus? We are carrying on some wine in 1 of our carry on's which will be heavy to drag up on a bus. Does everyone have to be transported from the terminal to the ship via bus? We are having a car drop us off, hopefully at the terminal. Does 11 am sound too early to be there?

Everyone uses the bus shuttle from the terminal to the ship. Distance is about 2/3 mile. Busses are similar to the ones at the airport - rather to the curb and mostly standing room.

 

When arriving recently on Connie I saw people going into the departure and check in area at 11:00.

thanks for the info, I guess I'll leave the car service as is and get dropped off at 11:00 am. The only problem I see is getting the carry on luggage up the bus steps. (It will have our wine in it!). Lets hope for a nice day.
