Rare Copper10-8 Posted August 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2016 ms Noordam, the youngest of HAL's four Vista-class vessels, will make an early arrival in Juneau, AK, tomorrow, Thursday, August 18, 2016 @ 0800 (08:00 am) local, and is assigned her 'normal' berth at the Cruise Terminal (CT) dock. Her departure time is set for 1800 hrs. (6:00 pm) local The action can be seen, and usually heard, at: http://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ The only other cruise ship in port Thursday is Celebrity Infinity scheduled for the Franklin Street (FKL) dock (0730-2000) making today's gathering yet another Holland America Group affair, albeit a modest one ;). Norwegian Sun is on the CLAA schedule as making an appearance on Thursday but she apparently did a 'switcheroo' since she was here today (Wed) and is probably going to be in Sitka tomorrow

Happily@Sea Posted August 18, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 18, 2016 I think I see her. She is really early, almost two hours - well, 1 1/2 by the time she gets along side. Glad I came a little earlier than I usually do [usual time is an hour and a half for sail-in - about 45 mins for sailaway]. And coming around the bend 'and heading for home'. :D
Happily@Sea Posted August 18, 2016 #13 Share Posted August 18, 2016 Doesn't look like we have a camera person this early - will she manage to stay in camera range the whole way to docking? Stay tuned for the exciting results!! :D
