Travel Insurance? Is it needed?

Some people assume that nothing will ever happen to them. Unfortunately, things happen. I have had to cancel 2 cruises. Once my daughter broke her foot 3 weeks before a family cruise. Another time, my mom broke her hip a week before a family cruise. Both times, I got my money back without any problems. I have also been injured on trips. Medical care outside the USA can be expensive. I submitted my medical related costs to the insurance company that reimbursed me. I have been on cruises with people who died while cruising. Insurance paid for all related costs. Buy insurance and hope that you don't need it. If you do need it, you will be happy that you bought it.
