Rare Banditswife Posted August 20, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 20, 2016 I don't remember at what point during the online check-in I chose a check-in time. But when I view my booking, click on cruise details, it lists our cabin #, our dining time(confirmed,) bed configuration and check-in time. I know I chose this time way out (7-8 months prior to cruise date) & well before final payment.

serene56 Posted August 20, 2016 #29 Share Posted August 20, 2016 When I got to the page to start on-line check in it showed two choices - All Guests, or Just Me - in the middle of the page. But down the left hand side of the screen there were links for Check in Times, Stateroom Preferences, Onboard Expenses, and Contract. I was able to click on the My Check In Time link and do just that part without having to run thru the other stuff. i dont see that area for my feb cruise on the Vista
kbh2 Posted August 20, 2016 #30 Share Posted August 20, 2016 We are booked on a cruise out of New Orleans in October of 2017 and there is no option yet to pick a boarding time. Not sure how far out they give you the option.
pusywillow Posted August 21, 2016 #31 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Selecting a check in time is also new to me. We will be driving to the port from 400 miles away (no way to avoid it) so will be there later in the day. Is there any problem choosing a time---say noon--- just in case, if we don't get there until 2:00? You can check in LATER than your check in time, but not before. Choosing noon would not be a problem. Sue
GranthamMommy Posted August 21, 2016 #32 Share Posted August 21, 2016 i dont see that area for my feb cruise on the Vista I am on the 11/27 Vista cruise and I could not pick a time either. I believe the FAQ page said the Vista would be set up for check in about three months before the first cruise.....so....that would be a week from now. This check in time is new to me too. Happy Sailing.
