Ft Lauderdale Hilton Garden Inn - Shopping nearby?

Oakwood Plaza across the street has plenty of restaurants and shops. Including one of the last K-Marts in South Florida which has a section of inexpensive wine and beach sundries just inside the front door.

Nearest drug store is CVS a little over a mile west on Stirling Rd. The Walgreen's a block further is no longer open 24 hours (just in case any ads at the hotel still say it is).

General hint: one of the best ways to learn what is nearby any location is to pull it up on Google Maps

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Hilton+Garden+Inn+Ft.+Lauderdale+Airport-Cruise+Port/@26.0494838,-80.1615707,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x88d9aa45d84e0a39:0x78ab7822245f4076!8m2!3d26.049479!4d-80.159382?hl=en

(scan downward along Oakwood Blvd for plenty of dining or shopping options)
