We have a late departing flight post-cruise and plan on spending the day in Ft Lauderdale. Can anyone recommend a good lunch spot? I'm thinking a casual / beachy place with fish tacos, burgers, etc. I'd love some suggestions! :)

Go to Himmarshee Village and there are a couple of excellent restaurants that fit the bill.

Both Taco Craft and Rok Brgr would be excellent and they are next door to each other.

Also, Roccos Tacos on Las Olas has excellent tacos!

Himmarshee Village though is worth a visit.

I had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Rok Brgr a couple of weeks ago ... complimentary mimosas (bottomless) for the ladies with the purchase of an entree :D

Overlooking the beach are Casablanca Cafe and Lulu's Bait Shack. The fish tacos and burgers at Coconuts are great, near the beach and on a marina. Bahia Cabana is also on a marina by the beach and has the ambiance you are describing, but the food and service are hit or miss.

Sandbar Grille at the Sun Tower Hotel & Suites (next door to Pelican Grand) has a lovely little beachfront restaurant, and the fish tacos are awesome!

Another fun little place is Flip Flops - great fish tacos as well. It is on the Intracoastal Waterway at the Shooter's Water Taxi stop.

You can always go to Hooter's. The views there are fantastic!

To the OP, I completely missed that you were going for something beachy.

All of the above would be great!
