Sarande, Albania- Butrint- Euros or Leks?

I will be visiting Butrint on my port stop in Sarande, Albania. The entrance fee is not included in the tour I booked. Anyone have first hand experience on whether they accept Euros for the admission? Or will I have to get Leks?

If I need to get local currency, where did you change or get your Leks once you arrived in Sarande?

I have spent time in Albania for work and only leks were accepted anywhere however I wasn't anywhere near a cruise port. That was a couple of years ago and you could only exchange for leks while in Albania.

We visited Sarande earlier this month. I can't comment on Butrint as we did not visit, but in Sarande euros were widely accepted in shops and cafes.
