Zigggypup Posted August 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Hi, anyone have any restaurant recommendations? Looking for more of a local flare than something geared towards the tourists. Not looking for 5 Star dining, a hole in the wall is fine as long as the food is good. Hamilton, St. George...........wherever. Thanks in advance. luckyinpa Posted August 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2016 i just googled one restaurant and noticed it said resort elegant dresscode. so this has to come into play when one is likely walking around in shorts all day.

mcbutter Posted September 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2016 Near Dockyard try Woody's in Sandy's Parish. Hamilton, for a great burger try Dorothy's Cafe. In St. G, Wahoo's, Mama Angie's, or Somers Supermarket. Somers has a hot food section that sells by the pound.

There are some items without American influence. Fish Chowder, Portuguese Red Bean Soup, Fish Sandwiches.......

During a stay at the Fairmont Southampton, when we wanted to venture away from the hotel restaurants, We've enjoyed meals, with a local flair at: The dining room at Gibbs Hill Lighthouse In St Georges - White Horse Pub and also Wahoos Southampton Parish - Henry VIII

CampbellCrewZ Posted September 14, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 14, 2016 Island cuisine in Southampton is a small place that many locals frequent. It has great food at very reasonable prices...try the seafood platter! We spent a week in Bermuda recently with friends and they eat here often, highly recommended.
