Pre-purchase internet or wait until on board

For our upcoming 10 night Reflection cruise, they are offering unlimited internet for $242.10. Is it going to be the same price on board? Will they offer other plans? I don't really need unlimited internet, but I do need to have some internet. Should I just pre-purchase or is there a lesser amount on board?

I typically wait until I am onboard to purchase...I get the smallest package, which I believe is about 90 minutes for $50 (if memory serves). I can also use my OBC which helps.

Sometimes the onboard price is higher than the prebooked price. On our cruise in the Adriatic this past May, the prebooked price was $179 and the onboard price was $199. Several people have posted a similar situation, but I have no idea if it will apply to your cruise.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am just wondering if they have any timed packages anymore, or is it only unlimited? If it is only unlimited then I will buy it in advance.

I was on the Constellation in July. They had unlimited package and they also had package for one 24 hour period. I bought that one , twice, for the two sea days. It was a lot cheaper than the unlimited package for the whole cruise.

At our meet and greet they also gave everyone 1 hour of free internet.

My sister went to the internet room and used their computers for one hour with this gift.
