CAS question

I just received my first ever comp cruise offer but it's for a cruise in October. We can't go as my husband is having surgery. I'm wondering if they allow you to book a different cruise for a different date? To muddy things up even further, I already have two cruises booked for 2017 so that shoots my vacation time. Would they ever allow you to book into 2018 using the comp offer? I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the question instead of throwing this offer in the garbage! Thanks for your help!

We recently sailed in June. I called to see if any casino comps were offered. They said we qualified for outside cabin for 2 but the sail date expiration was before the date O was interested in Nov 2017. However based on my husbands play they were able to give us the comp for the date we wanted. I am guessing that the "certificates" are different then comps based on previous play? I know there is a separate number to call so maybe
