kccrzr Posted March 22, 2017 #2326 Share Posted March 22, 2017 I now have a few days off before doing it all over again next week for NE/Canada. I hope those sailings aren't dribbled out over several days. :o
MCEaton Posted March 22, 2017 #2327 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Anyone like me who was disappointed that Symphony was going to be sailing out of Barcelona instead of Rome, may want to check out the recently added listed sailings for Symphony. ;-) Would love to see the schedule before the TA

skiiergirl Posted March 22, 2017 #2331 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Cruises from San Juan will be 7-day cruises on Jewel and Freedom. They alternate itineraries, so you can do a B2B2B starting with the TA and have 3 different itineraries. They should open sometime next week. Have the JW Caribbean itineraries been listed? (I know not available to book but didn't know if I had missed the itineraries/dates for after it returns to SJU.) While I agree that typically you can do a b2b out of SJU and get different itineraries that is not always the case. In Dec 2016 instead of doing A,B,A,B, Adventure did A,B,B,B between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Would love to see the schedule before the TA Symphony has a charter immediately before the TA. paylady Posted March 23, 2017 #2336 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Cabin 1100It was $5014 with C&A Diamond+ discount. $800 higher than cabin 9256 9256 was available 20 mins ago Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk The weird thing about this cruise is that the GS cabins were listed as the same price as the JS. I paid the same as you quoted for the JS as for the last GS. Go figure. I wonder if the JS prices will go down in the future. In any case, I'm satisfied. The 5K price was a JS on Brilliance going Westbound. I believe you booked Eastbound?? The westbound Brilliance GSs were much more than a JS. You got a fantastic deal!! See you on Jewel.... RosieRoo Posted March 23, 2017 #2339 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Just did the same thing for the Fall TA. GS same price as JS. That can't last. About $5K for two all in with C&A balcony discount. Wanted the Serenade but much too expensive for me . 8K for JS, over 5K for normal balcony. Also looked at Indy, about $5300 for JS. mac_tlc Thank you for the heads up. I don't think that GS price is going to last.

LEtue Posted March 23, 2017 #2347 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Problem with that (for me) is that I'm solo and they aren't selling studio cabins (which are VERY reasonably priced) from Rome. Sent from my iPhone using Forums I booked a studio from Barcelona before I knew they were going to offer some sailings from Rome. Oh well, at least I got one. Have you seen the prices for the studio cabins on the Jewel? Over $2300 plus fees - the standard inside cabins are priced hundreds less. But the new cabin categories are "whacked". How can they justify deck 2 being $141 more than deck 3 - both forward  I was considering moving to Jewel once the sailings were released but the pricing is outrageous.......and only having 3 studio cabins on the ship doesn't help. JudyjudyjudyS Posted March 23, 2017 #2348 Share Posted March 23, 2017 And therein lies the problem. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app Agreed. It would be a real mess if all did that. However, RC allows, so.... Does make me feel for folks that were anxiously awaiting the release today and trying to get those great aft balconies. Virtopia Posted March 23, 2017 #2349 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Finally have a booking! Dec 1st on the Rhapsody - starts in Venice and ends in Barcelona. I don't know how the weather will be but I got an aft balcony for what some ships were asking for an inside. I'll wear my winter jacket if need be :) looking forward to seeing Montenegro again! DonTreadOnMe Posted March 23, 2017 #2350 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Problem with that (for me) is that I'm solo and they aren't selling studio cabins (which are VERY reasonably priced) from Rome. Sent from my iPhone using Forums The way it sounded when I spoke to them, they basically will balance the demand. So if those cabins don't start booking for the date you are booked, they would become available 4 days later leaving from Rome instead. No idea how they maximize cabin capacity that way, it can't possibly be more profitable. Seems to me that the few more cabins you book by offering the option, would be offset and then some by potentially having cabins empty for 3-4 days at a time. Anyway, who cares. Bottom line is the option is available for most if they want it. Guessing that will shuffle over time, so keep checking on your studio.
