New Ships

With launch dates of 2021 and 2023, I would expect the keel laying to take place around 18 months prior to delivery for the first ship. Probably around 1 year for the second ship.

No details apart from tonnage being very slightly higher than the Dream class have been released yet. As for names, again nothing has been released or leaked yet. Still a ways to go!

Has anyone heard when Meyer Werft will start building either of the two new ships? Any rumors on names?

It was fun to check out their web cams while they built Dream and Fantasy. :)

Techie is correct, however I would add that prior to 18 months, there will be many blocks/sections welded up, parts like engines, machinery, etc ordered and built.

The fun doesn't start until the keel is layed.
