I have also put a deposit down on the celebrity solstice for April next year.

Is this where I should keep an eye out for cheaper rates with that refare?

Saying that they saying the ov guarantee I have booked is sold out so woukd have to keep eye out at upgrade cabins

In my experience there have never had any re-fares after final payment, especially here in Australia. However, up sells and upgrading your cabin for what you have paid (for a little extra) is sometimes possible.

Re-fare is when they let you take advantage of price drops (normally only up to the 75 day prior mark) as an example my cruise this December is with Princess, I have now had 6 booking numbers, so I've been back to them five times to say, there is a better offer than I have. All up I'm about $900 better off than when I first booked and $700 bet than if I booked now.

 

Sure there is a possibility that in the next two months there will be a better deal on offer, but cabin location is important to us (mid ship, sandwich deck) so getting in, booking early to get what we want, watching prices and benefits closely for better deals is the way we like to go.

 

Do RCI and celebrity allow re fares?
