Does casino survey lead to any perks?

I only gamble about $200 worth on my cruises and so does husband so not sure why they want to target me for a survey on casinos. Anyone ever get anything back from these surveys?

YES! We get deals from the casino a couple times a year. We are going on the Carnival Vista for back to back cruises in October. Both are casino deals. The first one is a 10 day from Athens, cost for a balcony - $500 each. The next one is the 13 day Trans-Atlantic, cost for a balcony - $750 each. We could have got an inside cabin for $125 and $250 each, but went for the balcony. This was a deal from the casino!

Before OP gets too excited, these would be Pack & Play offers based on Dave and Mel's previous casino play. OP may be on the casino's radar for previous play, but any offers will be based on previous play, not solely completing a survey.

True, you are right, I should have thought of that. that being said, you don't have to spend a lot of money in the casino to get the deals. My wife's Aunt only played the slots two nights on her last cruise with us and she gets the casino offers. I don't know if it is hit and miss or just how they pick who gets the offers, but I hope they keep sending them to me!

That will be the most expensive cruise you have ever taken. How much do you lose in the casino and you think you are getting a great deal.:confused::confused::confused:

Just heard on a roll call board from someone on another cruise, ultra from the casino who was up 15, 000, lost it all the last night, initial investment of 3000. Even the initial loss could pay for a couple cruises. And he had pictures of the money so I do beleive him.

I'd be sick losing that kind of money, they could of at least cashed out to the initial $3,000 and kept playing on it. At least then they would have walked out ahead $12,000. To lose it all

My aunt goes to the casino with a couple thousand at time and loses it over and over, thinks nothing of it. But celebrates big when she hits $1,000 or $2,000, that's why she plays, because she wins so much lol

Don't get me wrong, I like going to casino from time to time, I get it. But I know any cruise I got would be prepaid by me if I got one and with the casinos being all smoking now I don't use them enough to even count anymore. Maybe $50-$100 a cruise, probably won't even go in this time, can't handle the smoke in there anymore.

I'll switch to bingo, odds are better, played it 3 cruises and won on each $500-750 each time. Total spent about $200-220, not a bad return. Now I doubt if that streak will continue, I may never win again but for such a low investment it's a cheap thrill :p

OP, it will be interesting to see if they respond to negative comments on the completed survey. I noted my dissatisfaction with their no bounce back offer if another cruise already booked. Easy enough for me to accept their rule so I have one Carnival cruise booked and two Royal cruises booked. Won't book another Carnival until I return from the Magic in November.

I am always on a budget. I consider the casino my entertainment and so if I lose everything I brought to gamble, than I consider myself even. If I return with any then I put it away for my next cruise. I will say though that I normally bring money back. I never enter the casino believing that I am going to leave a winner, just hope to leave even.

Me too. I was on Sunshine July 4 and qualified for bounceback but because i was booked for Oct. 8, I wasn't given the Free Cruise certificate/letter. I also put that in my survery.

There is a cruise that I want to book but now I'm waiting until after the October one before I book another.

My husband just got the same survey. I made him fill it out. He has received 2 casino offers this year. He probably spends a couple of hundred dollars on a 7 day cruise. We have kids (4 of us altogether) and have to cruise during peak times (and at a minimum a balcony) so the offer isn't practically free but is a good bit cheaper than any rate that I have.
