sandystx Posted September 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2016 Hi. Please clarify - when booking treatments at the spa do you also have access to the wet rooms and other facilities? or do you need to purchase access pass in addition to the treatment? Is it similar to resort land based spas where paying for a massage and facial for example would then give you access to the entire facility including use of the hot tubs, steam room, etc or on the ship is it just the treatments purchased? I will be on the Epic. thank you for the input.
Ohio_Bob Posted September 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2016 No. Spa services are for the service only. The Thermal Suite is not included unless you buy the pass or are in a spa cabin category.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2016 The Thermal Suite (a.k.a. "spa") on the Epic is wonderful and well worth the price of a week's pass.
Rhea98 Posted September 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) The spa on Epic is the reason DH will cruise. Fortunately for us, we go early in the morning so no crowds and/or loud conversations. The relaxation room is always calm-it's our reading room. IMO, the spa services are incredibly overpriced, but the spa passes/cabins are worth it. It depends on what pleases you. hawkeyetlse Posted September 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2016 Access to the thermal suite is not included, but they might offer you discounted access on the day of your treatment. Someone mentioned this in a recent thread about POA, but it wouldn't hurt to ask on the Epic (just don't expect the answer to necessarily be "yes"). MikeBTN Posted September 20, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 20, 2016 I believe they offer you access to the Thermal Spa for a fee, something like $10-$15, if you purchase a spa treatment.
Blondie008 Posted September 20, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 20, 2016 EPIC's SPA - is awesome! After EPIC - our next two cruises were in Aquaclass (SPA class) on Celebrity Solstice class ships - their SPA after EPIC - mega let down - not remotely in Epic's league and this is Celebrity's finest! We are cruising on the Jade soon and have SPA passes - but we for sure will miss Epic - Get a spa pass - worth every penny (or cent!).
