Instead of Oceanview, we are now thinking of getting a Balcony for Mexican Riviera cruise.. and had these questions..

 

Our only preference is to have a quieter location plus it would be nice is the restaurants are not far away (senior parents with us)

 

1) Deck 9 or 10?

2) Aft or forward?

Deck 10 is good in that there are cabins above and below it. Farther aft puts you close to the Garden Cafe (buffet) and the Great Outdoors above you and the MDR below you.

I'd go with aft on deck 10.
