Ericknow32 Posted November 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2005 I liked the old paint. It saddened me when they changer her to look like most every other cruise-ship on the ocean:(

Airb330 Posted November 1, 2005 #6 Share Posted November 1, 2005 The old paint job looks much better IMO. It's different yet classy. Kinda like how US Airways looked when they first came out with their dark blue livery on their planes. Distinct but classy.

jakedoc Posted November 5, 2005 #10 Share Posted November 5, 2005 I too loved the old paint job-classic and elegant. The new paint jobs don't do it for me. It won't keep me from sailing them though- Hard to see the paint job looking out to sea.

trcori Posted November 5, 2005 #13 Share Posted November 5, 2005 if there are posters available with celebrity ship pix? I still have some open wall space in my office and would love to have something bigger to look at than the Mercury postcard I put up in my line of sight after last summer's cruise :) -- TR
BrooklynGirl2 Posted November 5, 2005 #14 Share Posted November 5, 2005 Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures. I love looking at them. Does anyone have a good picture of Zenith? I'd love to have one for my screensaver at work...you know to inspire me to keep working so I can afford the next cruise ;):)

davis0056 Posted November 6, 2005 #16 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Bug Light and the Constellation (Portland). We snapped this shot while driving around searching for lighthouses. The fog cleared just enough for this great and errie picture. Dave and Elaine

A&G Posted November 7, 2005 Author #21 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Hi Norbert....you must have been up early on the 16th to get that shot. Were you anxious to get on board. I notice you are quite active on these boards so you must be suffering cruise withdrawal just as bad as we are   Kind regards Alan & Glenys

norbert Posted November 7, 2005 #23 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Hi A&G, the truth is that we did not sleep a lot on that night. Always when we go on cruise, we try to see the ship comming in. That gives us a good feeling and we're very happy. I have to say that our last cruise (Alaska) was the most impressive we've done until yet and now we suffer like you and were waiting for the next cruise. We're planning on an north-europe cruise on Constellation for may 6th next year. That will be the first time we only have to fly for 1 1/2 hour. shofer Posted November 7, 2005 #24 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Hi All, Would love to view the new paint job on Summit but my computer won't let me open the files. What is different from the previous color scheme? I remember Dark Blue & White looking very classy. Love the "X" on the stack hope that's still there. A&G Posted November 8, 2005 Author #25 Share Posted November 8, 2005 Shofer, photos should open automatically. Try going for a coffee while you wait for page to fully download. Boards have been playing up of late and very slow....Alan
