Hoopster95 Posted September 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2016 We will be leaving from San Juan in January on the Adventure. Are there any special places to watch the ship leaving port? She sails away late and after sunset. I recommend top deck 12, starboard side (this is the key...starboard side, the railings get full) so you can view all of Old San Juan and El Morro as she sails by, sipping on a drink from the SkyBar, and being able to watch/listen to the sailaway party festivities :D
CORKY_Q Posted September 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2016 If you are fortunate enough to have a Starboard balcony (we have had twice:cool:) that is the place to be. With a nice adult beverage/glass of wine, of course.:D:D
Mango Mike Posted September 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Helipad gets my vote.
sg1phileshipper Posted September 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2016 We had a starboard balcony, but I still went to the helipad. But then again, I am attracted to the helipad, so I may be biased. Wherever you go, make sure to stand on the starboard side for great view of San Juan and Del Morro. Enjoy your cruise.
