Discover is offering 5% cash back on purchases in department stores starting October 1st.

 

Are there any department stores that sell Carnival gift cards?

Don't know about the others, but Lowes and Safeway don't have separate checkouts in each department.

I'm aware of that. According to Carnival's site, these are the stores that sell their gift cards. So, in a nutshell...........no there aren't any department stores that sell them.

10% off at AARP. Available about every 2 days or so. We paid off our cruise with them, prepaid tips, bought FTTF, but couldn't pay off Cheer! with them. I still had $1000. left when we boarded and loaded to sail and sign, then cashed out at the casino. 10% is a great savings!:)

Not sure if they have carnival ones, but I have seen gift cards at kohls

No department stores that I have seen. I looked at JCPenney the other day but all they had were restaurants and Disney gift cards. I do know that if Discover adds a 5% discount on grocery store it will be great for me. They now have the Carnival gift cards at both my local Food Lion and Farm Fresh.

In Florida, I have seen, at times, carnival gift cards in Publix.

You can usually get Carnival gift cards with Verizon Rewards. i.e., $90 for $100 gift card.

Same for me. Have to travel 1/2 hour to have access to a couple of others on the list.
