momto2js Posted October 2, 2016 #26 Share Posted October 2, 2016 I printed all the email and payment receipts for our excursions. We are using private vendors so I wanted to have that stuff handy. I put everything in a binder so it is easy enough to find when we need it.
Philob Posted October 2, 2016 #27 Share Posted October 2, 2016 another idea for those who are hestiant to go paperless and want backup: save a .pdf copy of each confirmation, and upload them to Dropbox. They can be accessed anywhere via the internet. I took a 2 week, 3 city trip to Europe without a single piece of paper last spring, it's very freeing! What happens when you don't have an internet connection  or no cell data access
kmurph22 Posted October 2, 2016 #28 Share Posted October 2, 2016 What happens when you don't have an internet connection  or no cell data access  As long as you upload the documents in dropbox to your device - they are accessible offline as well. ColinIllinois Posted October 2, 2016 #29 Share Posted October 2, 2016 I'll give up my paper copies when I get rid of my flip phone and my abacus.
Swells1 Posted October 2, 2016 Author #30 Share Posted October 2, 2016 I think I'm going to print everything this time and keep notes as to what I actually needed printed copies of. Next time, it'll be a little less. Baby steps...
Missilecop3 Posted October 2, 2016 #31 Share Posted October 2, 2016 You young people put way too much faith in the digital age. I always have a hard copy...just in case, because poop happens. I find getting the paper work is a fun part of getting ready for the cruise. It's a tradition for me getting the tickets luggage tax ready.
