95roadking Posted October 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2016 We sail on FOS in a few weeks and are in one of the new balcony cabins forward on deck 12. Some deck plans I have looked at call them spa cabins. Not sure what that means as on my reservation they are listed as deluxe cabins. Has anyone stayed in one, and what did you think of them? Rare John&LaLa Posted October 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Real quick summary, and thanks to Biker for the promo of my adventure. We were in 1890, the first balcony on the port side. Balcony is really windy Balcony is not as deep as most E2's Balcony has a speaker, really loud Balcony does have the reclining chairs and the steward should get you a stool Balcony does have the taller table Cabin has ample storage Cabin has a really big TV, maybe 32" Bathroom is same as all the rest No real noise from the sundeck above, no one ever goes up there it seems The door to the outer decks sometimes slams closed, but not to noticeable Great location for Sky bar, Solarium, and the upper sundeck Unfortunately not a good location for dining or going to the C&A lounges. Like the B&J Sweet, it's a bucket list thing that I won't do again. That's all that i got. Have fun

Rysdykj Posted October 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 3, 2016 We were also in 1890 and loved it - but that is because most days were spent the Solarium bar! Newer room, newer bathroom, bigger TV.
