Rare TLCOhio Posted October 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2016 We are disembarking the Queen Elizabeth in Capetown in April. There appear to be several docks available. As we are renting a car we would like to know at which dock we will be. Anyone have any info?? Below is a graphic that should give you a better idea for your likely boarding area. Lots more details on Cape Town and many stops along the South Africa coast can be seen on my live/blog connected below. Have you been to Cape Town previously? Happy to share more, answer an added questions. Some smaller ships might dock, maybe, dock more in the heart of the main V&A Waterfront commercial/dining areas. Larger ships are more likely at and around this location. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio AFRICA?!!?: Lots of interesting and dramatic pictures can be seen from my latest live/blog at: http://www.boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2310337 Now at 20,677 views for this reporting and visual sharing that includes Cape Town, all along the South Africa coast, Mozambique, Victoria Falls/Zambia and Botswana's famed Okavango Delta area. Per the website "MarineTraffic.com", below is the rough position where our ship (shown in blue) was docked when we boarded in February earlier this year. Where we actually boarded and the main passenger terminal was actually a little to the lower right from where this blue image shows.:
