hun Posted October 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2016 The number I have is 1-800-625-4309 (haven't ever called it yet, as cruise is next fall, so hopefully it's correct!). I also have written M-F, 9-5. Sent from my iPad using Forums
MikeBTN Posted October 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2016 If you are sailing on Escape or Getaway after November they have revised their upsell process.
Jezo Posted December 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2016 (edited) If you are sailing on Escape or Getaway after November they have revised their upsell process. What do you mean? Edited December 11, 2016 by Jezo
Rare BirdTravels Posted December 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 11, 2016 What do you mean? On those two ships, NCL will invite people to bid on upgrades. If you are booked through NCL or select TAs, you may get an invitation to bid.
Sand and Seas Posted December 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2016 What do you mean? It's an email inviting you to place a bid to upgrade. It's a new way to upgrade that they are currently testing on Getaway and Escape cruises. Some are saying they have heard it will move to other ships during the next year or so. We got the email exactly 80 days before our Escape sailing date, but not everyone receives it. You can place a 'bid' for cabins one and two categories above your current cabin. For example, if you have an inside cabin booked, you would be able to bid on oceanview and balcony. No guarantees but if you bid you give them your credit card info and it will automatically be charged to you unless you withdraw. From what we are seeing here on this board the accepted bids are usually happening in the last week before sailing. My guess is that if your bid is accepted much earlier than that you overbid. Jezo Posted December 12, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 12, 2016 So the upsell number is dead for these cruises?
Sand and Seas Posted December 12, 2016 #8 Share Posted December 12, 2016 So the upsell number is dead for these cruises? Yes, no calling for upsell if the ship has moved to the new process.
