Viking China cruise

We have purchased our air separately. We have 3days in Shaghai before cruise and 3 days in Beijing after cruise. Do we need to purchase airport transfers or is thit easy to transfer ourselves to and from hotels?

The bullet train in Shanghai is a really fast way to get to the airport. Sit on the inside and experience two trains passing at over I think 300 mph each. Also MUCH faster than surface transport.

 

Not sure on the best option in Beijing as we had a driver. Maybe check with your hotel on what they would offer and compare to Viking? Traffic is horrendous there.

Taxi's are easy and cheap to use in Shanghai (our favorite city) and also in Beijing...no airport transfers are necessary...easy to DIY in these cities.
