Refrigerators - mini freezers?

I am hoping to take a couple small ice packs with me if the refrigerator in our balcony room on the Equinox has a mini freezer in it. If not, I'll leave them at home and ask the room steward to keep our ice bucket filled.

 

Anyone know?

You will need the ice buckets. The temperature is best described as cool, not cold, and will not keep your ice pack frozen.

Bring some plastic baggies and fill them up with ice from the bucket for instant ice packs if needed.

Actually they're not *really* refrigerators at all - they're coolers. You'll have to be in a royal suite or a penthouse suite to get a proper refrigerator and freezer.

Nope. They don't have freezer sections.

My husband likes to have ice packs available because he gets very hot at night. We bring the kind of ice pack that has a screw-on top that allows you to fill it with ice cubes (not the kind with the blue liquid inside). He finds this works out OK for him when we travel and don't have freezer access.

If you need ice for a medical reason or pads frozen contact special needs pre cruise and I am sure they will sort something for you, even if it is just an extra ice bucket! Seriously they are very helpful.
