I am still trying to decide. Is using a credit card with the 3% foreign exchange fee still better than cash. I have one that pays me 1%, so that brings it down to 2%Of course the convenience does have merit. Thanks for input.

We found nearly everyone very willing to take US $ when we went. We had our credit card refused several places in Brazil and paid cash American instead. We also used $1 for tips throughout our cruise. Don't depend solely on credit cards or ATMs.
