Yes it will be open. They will tell you to go to the buffet. But it is open. Check the patter for deck and times.

the elevator operator was insistent we go up to buffet floor and not our rooms, despite the announcement our rooms were ready.

so we walked down to our rooms dropped off our bags and went to mdr via stairs because the elevators were all reserved for embarkation.

Hi Irockwitt...

Lori from our roll call.

To be specific the "MDR" will not be open, in other words the Botticelli Dining Room will not be open it will either be the Da Vinci or Michelangelo Dining Room.

As another poster stated the hours r from noon to 1:30 but I have seen them turn people away at 1:25 so don't be late.

Hope to see you at the sail away.

The mdr will be open, but usually there are only 3 entrees on the menu.Very weak.

long cruiser

They are some of the best lunch menu items all week! I certainly wouldn't call it a "weak" menu.

Grilled Herb-Spiced Beef Tenderloin

To be specific, Botticelli, Da Vinci, and Michelangelo are ALL Main Dining Rooms. So, yes, one MDR will be open during lunch. There's nothing that makes Botticelli "main".
