RCL Mass Email Problems

Am I the only person who gets emails from RCL with someone else's name in the subject line? For example the email this morning has the subject:

 

Sherrie, it looks like you left your drinks behind

 

I have never known a Sherrie, Never Traveled with a Sherri, my name is Chris. I have gotten similar emails with the name MARK in the subject. For me I just laugh but for someone who is very particular they could take this in a negative way.

I can't find any emails with either of our names in the SUBJECT line???

I've not seen that particular problem, but I have seen other RC mass email problems. I've gotten emails telling me it's time to choose excursions on cruises that I don't have booked.

 

It may have occurred, name in SUBJECT line, as I delete many of Royal's emails that do not pertain to me, but my review of those that i kept, had no name in the subject line. Some did have a name in the meat of the letter, like "Dear Troykachack" or SO name...

Only problem I've ever had is with my upcoming Anthem cruise... All emails sent to me go to one of the people in my stateroom who I am bringing along... they are PAX 3, never been on a ship before but all emails are addressed to him, despite me being PAX 1 and Diamond... Always found it very irritating.

Yes, same thing here.... except for the emails we get for Casino play, those are addressed to me, but most others are too SO. SO does have the most real points that I acquired.

The problem I'm having is I'm not getting any regular emails from RCI. I only have received emails for things I've ordered (like Voom) or replies from Special Needs. I'm a C&A member - and I checked to verify they have the right email address. Any idea why I wouldn't receive regular emails?

The problem of receiving emails from RC is not uncommon. Many report the same issue here.

Wow, I get constant emails from them, like at least one a day.

I can confirm that the "[Your Given Name], it looks like you left your drinks behind" emails do have that text in the subject line. I think it was sent to anyone who looked at the beverage packages in response to the earlier emails advertising the 20-30% sale on packages.

Got the same email for upcoming cruise, it was trashed. Remember the name but don't remember if it was in Subject line or meat of text.
