Embassy Suites/safes

Does anyone know if the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale have safes in the rooms. I'm not seeing it on their website, however they say they have a safety deposit box?

No they don't have in room safes ...one of the few things that are a disappointment with this hotel...Surprised they haven't added them at some point.

That's my biggest complaint with Embassy Suites. I don't like having to walk to the stores or restaurants with all of my money, travel papers and passport. There's always the chance of losing them or getting robbed.
