Hi Guys, we are cruising on Sun Princess from Brisbane on 16th Feb and wondered what the chances would be of getting onboard in Auckland at the tail end of the previous cruise. i.e. last 4 days of Brisbane/Brisbane cruise? Does that make sense? Have done 4 days to Sydney from Auckland on end of a cruise but that was sold as a 4 dayer. TIA Anjo.

You'll need to contact the line or your TA.

Sometimes they sell segments, but not always.

doesnt look like there's a sector so they will make you pay for the whole cruise, not worth it

Doesn't hurt to check , but shorter round trips like that don't have as many people getting off, so not as much reason for them to open sectors.

Your previous booking was probably at begin/end of a world cruise which has more people getting on/off along the way instead of as a convenient round trip out of another city.

Thanks Guys. Will contact Princess direct and see what they can offer. The 4 dayer I did was booked about 15 months in advance and was the end of a Sydney/N.Z/ Sydney cruise. Admittedly it included New Years Eve. Maybe that made a difference and a lot of people got off in Auckland to celebrate it at home? Anjo.

i've enquired about something similar and was told if no sector you would have to pay the lot but report back if they allow it but i wouldnt count on it
