Hidden Minnie Posted October 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2016 I happened to be in NY visiting family and was lucky enough to be on a ferry when the Viking Star pulled in yesterday morning. She was quite the sight to see! What you can't see in this shot are the fireboat following and the helicopter flying low around her.
Rare Vineyard View Posted October 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2016 What a great picture! Welcome Viking to the United States! Here is to many more shops and visits around the country and continent. Thanks for sharing!
Rare Peregrina651 Posted October 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Viking Star overnighted in Boston earlier this week. It was her first port of call in the US and none of the local rags saw fit to send a photographer. Sorry I didn't get a chance to see her while she was in port and I hope that passengers and crew all enjoyed her maiden visit to our fine city. Rare Vineyard View Posted October 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2016 I completely spaced on that Peregrina! I respectfully stand corrected! I just love seeing Viking moving forward on their expanded geographical itineraries!
photopro2 Posted October 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Next year we will have 4 Days in New York (fly in trip) and seven days in the Mediterranean on sister ship viking sea. You have got me excited about both in one picture thanks to your quick thinking in getting that great shot! Check out the2006junket's thread about the Sea's transit of the Cape Cod Canal. :o
