Why does Princess ask if the water you bring on board is for medical? I have never been asked that question. We are sailing on the Ruby today and when I had carried on my big bottle of water, he asked if it was for medical? Please explain.

Just curious--how big was your "big" bottle?

And was it open or still sealed? If open they were likely encouraging you to say it was medically necessary so they wouldn't have to stop you to check if it was actually water.
