Automatic video ads on hal pages!

I am posting this here only because I only go the HAL-related threads on CC.

 

Is anyone else getting those 2 irritating, automatic video ads on the HAL pages? The seem to delay the page downloading, start automatically, in sequence! As soon as the page is downloaded the first ad begins. I have actually had both going on at the same time!

 

I have sent an email to CC asking to either delete them or make then non-automatic. Also, the ads have nothing to do with HAL or cruising, as far as I can tell.

 

Are these just on the HAL pages or elsewhere on CC?

I got those for a few days back in May or June and then they stopped. As I remember, they popped up in various forums not just HAL.

We use AdBlock, and are very pleased with the results ;)

I have not had them but I almost always use tapatalk.

I see a static ad at the top of the page, three static ads on the right side, and one static ad at the bottom of the page. No videos here. Thankfully. If I start getting them, I, too, will send a complaint.

I don't get any ads or videos anymore.

I had the Geek squad block them for me many months when a couple popped up.
