Governor's beach or Public Beach?

We are trying to decide on Governor's Beach or Public Beach for our day on GC.

 

Are there chair and umbrella rentals? Can you just throw down a towel on the beach and stay. Are there nearby places for to get water, soda, or juice? Are there restrooms? Showers?

 

Any help is appreciated.

(Essentially, yes to all questions for Public Beach, pretty sure it's no to all questions for Governor's other than towel on sand...that's okay.)

Great info. We will be there in December and haven't made up our minds entirely about what we want to do.
