Does anyone know if the filtered water onboard has the salt filtered out? I swelled up like a balloon on my last cruise, and read that the salinity of the water may have been a factor. I was going to drink bottled water instead this time to see if that helps.

If you do a search on this board you will find more than you want to know about the swelling thing and ship water. Some science and lots of opinion.

 

I bought a water package for my next cruise, both because I prefer not having to fill a bottle from a glass in the buffet every time I want water, and because I did that on my last cruise and could only wear my pool sandals because my feet swelled so much. I will see how it goes this time. 23 days and counting!
