laktex Posted October 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2016 We will need air arrangements from NYC to Tampa. How does do the fares rate with Cunard for Domestic flights? The only way is to ask Cunard and compare. Internationally they are pretty good - internally within the US I have used them but only in ultimate combination with an international flight. BlueRiband Posted October 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2016 You will need to call Cunard as this cannot be done online. You might do some mock bookings with your preferred airline and see what prices you get, then you'll have something to compare against Cunard's pricing. Be aware however that cruise lines tend to give better prices because they buy in bulk and the air carrier puts passengers on less popular schedules. You might get put on a late afternoon or evening flight when doing it on your own might provide an earlier departure time. (There's a post in Ask a Cruise Question where somebody let the cruise line take care of everything - and as 13 hours to kill between disembarkation and the flight home.) You have to decide if any cost savings are worth the inconvenience.
Winchester Ranger Posted October 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2016 I got an amazing price for a business class return flight from the UK to the US - internal US flights tend to be fairly cheap to start with.

Ditto to that from UK to US, got first at a fraction of what the going rate was on various web sites.
