Flying into Fort Lauderdale on a Saturday afternoon 2:30. I've read the later afternoons its hard to get a shuttle to Miami. What is considered late. How much would Uber be. Also staying at the YVE Hotel Miami. Is there any decent restaurants around. I called the hotel $6 per person to the port thought that was a fair price.

Uber from FLL to downtown Miami will be about $40. Taxi to POM the next day will be about $10-12 - wash with the hotel shuttle for a couple.

 

Check with Go Airport, QLS, MJS and SAS for a shared shuttle price to Miami in the afternoon - if you land at 2:30 you will likely not be in a shuttle/Uber until 3:30 or so.

Do you arrange Uber well before the cruise, like now for a Dec. cruise, or do it the day you arrive? Just not sure how this works.
