twinsbur Posted October 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2016 If you book an excursion pre-cruise to save a spot are you able to cancel the reservation and then re-book the excursion to use onboard credit? I read that you can cancel 24 hrs before the excursion. Has anyone done this? Thanks :D
cb at sea Posted October 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Well, you could, but by canceling onboard, the refund will come to you as additional OBC...so you won't be gaining anything, really! It will NOT go back to your credit card!

It will NOT go back to your credit card! It does come back as refundable OBC if you cancel on board. At the end of the cruise if you have credit remaining, it is refunded to your credit card. gcruise25 Posted October 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2016 It goes back on your credit card if that's the way it was booked. You can rebook if it isn't sold out. If sold out you go on a waiting list. Also the price of the excursion is higher on the ship.
