I was looking at upgrading our Christmas cruise to a balcony cabin. When I choose 3 people the price is 2691.00 the same cabin is 1647.00 for 2 people. If I'm doing my math right the 3rd person rate is over 200.00 higher than 1st and 2nd person rate. I understand supply and demand but it is the same cabin. Guess I'll be happy with our original cabin.

I think 3/4 person rooms are more than 2 people rooms? Or do they give them the same category numbers???

We took one cruise with our children and it only cost us $114 more, total, for a second room so we didn't have to share. I booked one room with me and a kid and the other with my husband and a kid. I booked adjoining rooms. It worked out perfect and we had some private time when needed! :) Well worth the little extra for the second room.

This time we are taking one child... not worth the extra room:(
