Rare EllieinNJ Posted October 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2016 We usually cruise in September or May when the weather is nice and the kids are still in school. I'm looking at the Baltic cruises and I seem to remember someone's trip report who went in late August and said it was getting chilly then. May is too close to an anniversary cruise I'm doing in March. Any thoughts?
LondonTowner Posted October 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Obviously, you can't rely on the weather, but we did a Baltic cruise In mid September. We had hot, sunny weather in every port. In fact, in Tallin it was about 30c, a bit too hot for sightseeing. I would imagine June is a good time as the days will be long.
txagfan Posted October 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) I've been in the Baltic ports for a September trip (land based, not cruise) without issue. The answer is "it depends", but it's not going to be snowing or anything. Rare cml4958 Posted October 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2016 I did a Baltic cruise last September and then went to Berlin afterwards. The weather was generally sunny and the temperature was moderate averaging between 60's - 80's. Nights might be a little cooler.
Rare QuattroRomeo Posted October 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2016 We did a Baltic cruise in mid Sept 2015. Beautiful weather- reminded us of early Fall weather at home.
