Rang wed evening got quoted £270 each for upgrade rang tonight fri to confirm and the cost has gone to £340 . Can you explain to me why has it happened before it's daylight robbery should never have bothered with these pirates of the sea.

Nah , if I give a quote for a job that's the price , if I See a car I want test drive go back a week later it's the same price not more expensive. It's a load of kak won't be booking any more cruises with any of these they are robbing gits . Customer services have been at best terrible so far . First time cruise last time cruise when the sham is over.

Uh, I don't think you know how cruises work... Not to be rude. Prices change ALL THE TIME. Just like hotels, rental cars, plane tickets.

Not just the price hawk but the whole indifference from customer service if you can call it that. I thought the American CS would have been better than anything I have encountered before .Should have booked with Royal Caribbean .

By they way if I get a quote I expect that to stand as a matter of courtesy , not to extract more money out of you .

And what if the price had gone down? Which price would you accept then?

Disney Datknee is correct. It's all supply and demand. If the cruise is selling well, the price can go up overnight. If not selling well, the price can go down.

Royal Caribbean are also American. And no doubt they also use fluid pricing.

Quotes expire at midnight. They aren't valid after that. It's not any different on Royal Caribbean. I waited two days to book my Empress cruise and it went up $200.

Well if he had informed me of that it would have been a different matter, there are other issues not a very pleasant experience overall .

Since you don't seem to understand how cruise pricing works, you feel the whole thing is a sham and there are other issues, maybe it's just best that you cancel. You are only going to be more unhappy and find other things you are not satisfied with.

Now it's been pointed out how the pricing works I can live with it . I will try to upgrade next year as advised . It's the first time so I'll go with the flow .
