HOW FAR and HOW MUCH???

We are looking to fly into San Juan in October 2006, and are wondering how far the cruise terminal (Adventure of the Seas) is from the airport?

How much should we expect cab fare to run? Can anyone recomend a hotel (we're on a budget). The flights don't get in until late evening so we don't need anything fancy, just a safe, clean place to sleep for 1 night.

If the ship is docked at the Panamerican Pier, we paid $17.50 each way from the airport and back. Sorry, can't help you with a hotel, because we flew in the same day of departure.:)
