Lobster first night out?

Several years ago we sailed on the NCL Pearl and on our first night in the Main Dinning Room, we had lobster tails with our meal. I was told that this was the only night it was served and only on a 4 day or better cruise.

Is this still the case?

My understanding is that some of the ships have it in the MDR but there is an up-charge for it. ($25)?

Personally, I wouldn't pay that.

I did that on my last NCL Pearl trip (it was a specialty cruise so not sure lobster was taken off because of the nature of this cruise).

I paid for a whole lobster dinner and it was good but small. Certainly not worth the $20 I paid for it. I wont do it again.

It's now a 12oz tail for $24.99

OMG!

Might be better to have lobster in one of the ports visited.

I love seafood, fish and shell fish. Funny that there is so little of that on an ocean vessel. :p

Not so funny, really...all seafood is frozen, so it's not as if they are catching seafood as they motor along!

I accept frozen but a larger variety would be expected.

I did enjoy the sushi bar aboard the Pearl. Is there a sushi bar on board the Sky?
