If you want the messaging functionality on the Royal QI app, it is a per person charge..... or so I thought, but when I signed up for the weekly package, my husband is listed in my contacts, even tho I didn't pay a separate charge for his, and it's allowing me to message him via the app.

 

 

You are able to add multiple contacts as long as they also purchased the the $7.95 messaging package, regardless of cabin #. Each "package" is assigned a unique messaging 8 digit ID number that you need to use to add contacts to your list

We are Diamond Plus, but have never heard of a group called "Loyal to Royal". What is that, and how do we join it? Or is it by invitation only?

 

Your in!!! We are D and almost D+. A couple of years ago the "Loyal to Royal" was a marketing program that they had. They ran some ads using that tag line and featured in on the web site. They even had t-shirts that were available in the logo shop on a couple of cruises we were on. Guess it stuck with me because I was involved in retail marketing and thought it was a really good hook for those of us who really love this cruise line. They don't use it anymore but every so often I will hear it on a cruise and use it for fun. So congratulations, as a D+ you defiantly qualify to be in the club.

Thanks for all the amazing pictures. Question about the IQ app does it have the ability to show where the other people from your family are on the ship... e.g. if you had kids running the app on there phones you would know where they are?...or vice versa the kids can know where the parents are? that would be very convenient...

no GPS tracking functionality. That would be really nice. [emoji4] so far haven't had any issues reaching DD. She is 17 tho, and good about checking in.

Thx for this review. Your pictures are fabulous I wish I had the ability to take such great pictures. I do take them with full intentions of seeing things that I take but sadly they just never turn out so great.

 

I was on the first 3 day sailing and looking at your pictures I cannot believe how much I didn't actually see. I guess I spent too much time in the casino. It paid me real well the first night but went rapidly downhill from there.

this is the last menu of the week. Overall, I enjoyed the new menus. While not vastly different, there were a few worthy changes. The lobster was definitely a vast improvement

GREASE was an amazing show. Highly recommend. I was able to see every show with the exception of Columbus, The Musical.
