You should be docking at Crown Bay. There's a nice ice cream spot across the street from the dock near Gourmet Gallery where locals bring their kids to play in the shade on the grass while they're enjoying ice cream.

Emerald Beach is a short taxi ride away so you might want to spend some time there. Nice facilities with 2 low rise hotels. Rent chairs. Eat/drink.

Hello! Looking for ideas/tips on what to do off the ship with a 4 y.o. and a 2 y.o. We port at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Should we book things through the cruiseline?

No need to book anything thru the ship (and ...yes...you definitely dock at CB)...Bring two cheap umbrella strollers with you...hop on the shuttle at the dock ($4.00 pp adults) and go into town ... a quick trip...wonder around town...easy to do... then take a shuttle back to ship.
