mercadomaria Posted November 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2016 Hello! Has anyone stayed in this room or something similar? If you have: Do you have any pictures? Did you like the room? Thank you!!!!!
tonit964 Posted November 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2016 These rooms are great because they are not much more than an inside and have the french doors that let in light and open for fresh air. Although, there have been reports of some of them being bolted shut. If you are between lifeboats, you have a little bit of a view. My DH and her BF are in 4140 on our upcoming cruise, which is between the lifeboat. If you do a search, there are pictures and on youtube, videos of this type of room. john91498 Posted November 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2016 We were in 4195 back in August. Great room as it's the cost of an inside, but larger with a view in between life boats. The doors in our room could be opened and it was nice to get fresh air.
SadieN Posted November 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2016 (edited) The cabin itself is the same as a regular balcony cabin. We were in 4192 this last HI cruise. Mid-lifeboat view. We've had other 4K cabins in the past and have another booked in May. A few 'issues' We keep our drapes open a crack at night. At night light comes up from the Promenade deck. At night, in the dark, with bleary eyes the white hull of the lifeboat looks like fog, lol. Another issue to be aware of is there can be workmen at any time on or in the lifeboats. Keep your drapes closed when dressing. Edited November 10, 2016 by SadieN
LilDesertGirl Posted November 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 11, 2016 I stayed in one on the Miracle. We were between lifeboats and had a little view. Our door opened. The cabin was the same layout as a regular balcony. I like these rooms. Such a deal! Lillian ⚓️[emoji568]
ccruisequeen Posted November 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2016 hete is my cabin on the Miracle. We used the bolster from the sleep sofa to hold the door open, although I've learned that it can though off the AC I cruise for creme brûlée, lobster and warm chocolate melting cake!
