Mwright91 Posted November 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Looks like a pattern shift is getting ready to occur late this week. Odds appear to be increasing as I have been checking this site the last few days. It went from nothing, to 50% to 60% fairly fast. https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/last-atlantic-tropical-storm-2016 http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=5 Here's to hoping with the 40% chance they are wrong. zqvol Posted November 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2016 The weather in question is in the eastern Pacific. The only cruises that might be affected are Mexican Riveria cruises. Plus, as of this morning the threat has been removed by the National Hurricane Center.
sjh422 Posted November 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2016 The weather in question is in the eastern Pacific. The only cruises that might be affected are Mexican Riveria cruises. Plus, as of this morning the threat has been removed by the National Hurricane Center. The weather system in question in the first post refers to an area in the southwestern caribbean. In todays weather discussion it is stated that this disturbed area has a 60% chance of forming into a tropical depression by Saturday.
